What the hell is wrong with this picture?? I ordered a cheddar-cheese baked potatoe from Wendy's and was a lil pissed that they gave me a strip of bacon and not pieces! When did they start doing this shat? I dunno but for some reason, me breaking the bacon in pieces ruined it for me... Blah!

Have You Missed Me?

I feel so bad about neglecting this blog.. My heart was in the right place when I started it but my life has gone from one extreme to the next and I'm just trying to stay sane in the process. But then it hit me! This is what this blog is about... me beyond my quest to get backstage. Imma be honest, I'm pretty much an open book, I learned over the past year to not give a damn about the mistakes that I made as long as I learn the lesson!

And things are finally picking back up for me and the blogging, the GL site has been revamped and I'm trying like hell to learn how to customise it. I wish it was more like blogger but its not so I'm learning to embrace the change and you know what else I'm embracing... FAILURE.. Which has been the monkey on my back for some time. I've gotten so much better at exercising my Faith because the reality of it is.. What God has for you is for YOU!! Which brings me back to the my initial point of neglecting this blog! My life is finally getting back in order (more on it later.. soon... I promise) AND I got an invitation to be a co-host for a friend's radio show and 2 shows in.. I like it. I have a big azz mouth so being on the radio only seemed right! This is certainly going to allow me the outlet to vent which is something that I don't do often. So from here on out the plan is to let it all out!! WATCH OUT!

These are the activities that I like to “watch”… There was food coloring and my semi new wood floors involved so my job was to keep a watchful eye on this lil project….

Pop was in charge of the actual coloring of the eggs…

Apple and Ivy was on decorating patrol…

Then off to White Rock Lake to hide the eggs and relax… The Berry Girls were spotted feeding the ducks their Easter eggs so if there is a dead duck epidemic don't blame me!

If Had My Way….

I would have a home cooked meal for my family ready everyday! However with the way things are going in my life we are good if I can kick out 1 home cooked meal a week! When I was a tot my mother would cook at least 4 days out the week but the era that we live in now makes it damn near impossible. For me anyway. I wear many hats in my house and the chef hat is my absolute fav… Seriously, I luv to cook!! It has always been a passion of mine to explore the arts of culinary. So anytime I find a new recipe I like to try it out on my fam. I  found this recipe from Down Home With the Neely’s and it has been a hit!

For the parents who are on the g-o like me… How do you incorporate a healthy diet for your kiddies when you cant cook a balanced meal?

It's My Party....

Yeap I admit I'm all kinds of wrong for not updating xoxo in over a month now! I've got good reasons too.. Trying to concentrate on GL, my lover, and my babies... (swagger jacked from E. Badu) Seriously, most days I feel like I'm running in circles, for one I need to do better with my time management skills or maybe its time to give out a key to the bus. At any rate, I told you this blog will be all about me, my fashion, what I like apart from my other gig- GrupieLuv.com. Feb 7th I was blessed to see another year and a few of my friends came out to help celebrate the day with me and I want to share it with you guys.. Enjoy....

My Life…. Maybe You Will be Entertained

Its fair to say that even as a tot I was labeled a misfit because I dared to be different, I never wanted what the other girls had, I wanted the “thing” no one else wanted so I could make it all mine. Often I’d get comments from people saying I dress different or have my own style. The way I dress is an extension of my personality which depends on the flow of the wind. One day I may feel conservative and the next?? Well… there are times when even I sometimes say WTF.. I love being a misfit, I luv moving to beat of my own drum. Hell I will rock some white slacks in a minute and would give a crap less if its before or after Labor Day. And I don't require Elle Magazine’s stamp of approval for new look for spring either. I do ME! Flashbacks-of-a-misfit is all about my fashion thru my eyes… Enjoy/follow/comment….
